Pretty Pushers
Hospital Gowns are for patients. Pretty Pushers are for mothers giving birth.
Many of my clients have recently been purchasing “pretty pusher” gowns and been very happy with them, so I finally decided to write about them.
I will say that nothing about a hospital gown is sexy! Your butt is hanging out the whole time, which can kind of get in the way when you are trying to walk the halls, squat, and make hip circles to manage labor. The way the snaps and ties are make it awkward to get to an open chest for that initial skin to skin moment once your baby is born. Not to mention, who knows how many people before you have labored in these gowns….
Part of labor, as I mentioned last week, is to feel good and comfortable in the birthing process. Why not wear a cute little gown that has been designed for the functionality of birth?
Look into it!
Pretty Pushers Labor Gowns
If you’re going to bring your own labor gown, bring one that makes sense! All Pretty Pushers gowns have openings in the right places to allow for fetal monitors, IVs, and epidural access…so that you don’t have to be uncomfortable and exposed to accommodate these sometimes necessary accessories.
